WintWire’s Warehouse Expansion: Unlocking New Levels of Capacity and Efficiency

At WintWire, innovation and growth have always gone hand in hand with our commitment to serving our customers’ evolving needs. In line with this ethos, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone in our journey: the expansion and modernisation of our storage facilities, designed to meet increasing demand and improve operational efficiency.

First, we have maximised space with an advanced storage system. Our recently installed high-density storage system in our newly refurbished warehouse is a game-changer. Unlike traditional shelving, this solution optimises all available space, reducing the footprint required for access. This cutting-edge system allows us to store more wire while ensuring quick and efficient access, minimising turnaround times for customer orders.

We have also expanded the warehouse area. In addition to the storage system, we have invested in new conventional racking to increase our pallet storage and added a large mezzanine floor to boost our overall capacity.

Finally, we have increased our wire rod storage capacity. The new storage area enables us to keep more raw materials on hand to meet urgent or specialised customer requests.

These investments have unlocked over 150 tonnes of additional capacity across our facilities, strengthening our ability to handle a larger number of orders while also enhancing our capability to stock a wider variety of materials and smaller wire diameters.

Expect faster lead times, greater flexibility, and the ability to respond to ad hoc or large-scale orders with ease. Whether you are purchasing round or shaped wires in nickel alloys, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, carbon, carbon alloy, or titanium-type materials, our upgraded facilities ensure we are equipped to meet your needs more efficiently than ever.
