IWMA is pleased to strengthen its Executive Management Committee with the appointment of two new members, Pemika Nakornsri (Bangkok Cable) and Sebastian Eckert (AFH-Antriebstechnik GmbH). Their addition reflects IWMA’s commitment to ensuring that its executive committee brings together broad industry experience, international perspective and forward-looking expertise from across the wire and cable sector.

The Executive Management Committee plays an important role within the IWMA. It is a committee of voices from across the industry, working with the Association to help drive it forward and ensure that members remain at the heart of decision-making. It is also a key forum for shaping new initiatives, strengthening international relationships and helping IWMA respond to the changing priorities of the global wire and cable market.

In welcoming Pemika and Sebastian, IWMA is broadening the range of skills and perspectives available at executive level.

Pemika Nakornsri brings valuable insight to the committee. As Marketing Director and Sustainable Development Director at Bangkok Cable, and a member of both the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, she contributes to brand strategy, marketing communications and long-term sustainability within one of Southeast Asia’s leading wire and cable manufacturers. Her appointment strengthens IWMA’s international outlook and brings added expertise in sustainability, market development and strategic growth.

Sebastian Eckert brings extensive industry experience and a strong understanding of the technical and commercial needs of the wire and cable sector. With a background in business leadership and a close connection to innovation and industry development, he offers valuable commercial insight and practical sector knowledge. His appointment reflects IWMA’s desire to strengthen executive input from experienced professionals who understand both established markets and emerging opportunities.

Together, these appointments reflect IWMA’s intention to build an executive committee that represents the breadth of today’s global industry. Both new members bring fresh energy, strong professional credentials and experience in areas that are increasingly important to the future of the sector.

Commenting on the appointments, IWMA Chairman Willibert Dautzenberg said:
“We are very pleased to welcome Pemika Nakornsri and Sebastian Eckert to the Executive Management Committee. Both bring valuable experience, fresh perspective and strong industry understanding, and I am confident they will make an important contribution as IWMA continues to evolve and serve the needs of our global membership.”

We will be introducing both Pemika and Sebastian in more detail in upcoming editions of IWMA Insider, and we look forward to formally welcoming them to the Executive Management Committee.
