Awarded at the IWMA Industry Lunch UK on 19th March 2025, the IWMA Young Employee of the Year Award recognises the next generation of outstanding talent in the wire and cable industry. This prestigious award celebrates their significant contributions to their company, their team, and their professional development.

CRITERIA

The nominee must demonstrate:

  • A significant and sustainable contribution to their organisation, their team, and their own performance, aligned with the organisation’s business objectives.
  • A commitment to the organisation’s objectives beyond what is typically expected of someone in their role.
  • Responsibility for their actions and those working around them, making a clear impact in their area of responsibility.
  • A commitment to their own professional development, aligned with the organisation’s performance management processes.

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered, nominees must:

  • Be a current employee of an IWMA member company.
  • Be 30 or under within the period 1st January to 31st December 2024.
  • Have worked in their organisation for at least 12 months.
  • Be nominated for achievements occurring within the period of 1st January 2024 – 31st December 2024.

Please note: The judges’ decisions are final, and no correspondence regarding the winner or nominations will be entered into.

HOW TO ENTER

To nominate a candidate, please complete the application form below, detailing the nominee’s achievements and how they meet the criteria.

All applications must be received by 31st January 2025.
