Maschinenfabrik Niehoff, international manufacturer of machinery for the wire and cable industry, has released a new issue of its NIEHOFF Magazine. The customer magazine focuses on the North American market for wire and cable manufacturers, the Interwire 2025 exhibition, and a highly interesting new Niehoff technology.

At Interwire 2025, Niehoff and its North American subsidiary Niehoff Endex North America, Inc. (NENA) showed at booth 839

– a multiwire drawing line type MMH 121 + RM 201

– a rewinding line type ARP 630 pay-off + SMB 4

– the NIEHOFF After Sales Service

The magazine provides its readers with detailed information about the special features of these products and the associated benefits for customers.

Niehoff has been operating in North America for 40 years now. Niehoff Endex North America, Inc. (NENA), based in Swedesboro, New Jersey, is profiled in this issue of NIEHOFF Magazine. NENA has its own manufacturing department, guarantees a comprehensive range of services, and represents several renowned European suppliers to the wire and cable industry. One of these companies is FLYMCA, a Spanish manufacturer of large rotating machines for all types of cables.

In Mexico, NENA works together with the recently established Niehoff Sales and Service Center Niehoff Mexico (NoM).

NENA is a partner for many wire and cable manufacturers in the USA, Canada and Mexico. These manufacturers include the Mexican copper and aluminium cable producer Viakable, which is featured in a company profile. Viakable´s Director of Technology & Engineering, Raúl García Martinez, also talks about industries with significantly increasing demand for wires and cables.

This issue of NIEHOFF Magazine introduces readers to new Niehoff technology: Working with a well-known cable manufacturer, Niehoff has developed a technology for producing flat copper wires for cable shielding. In this process, wire rod is drawn into flat wire and annealed in a single operation. The process can be carried out on any existing Niehoff rod breakdown (RBD) line with the appropriate modification and a spooler equipped with a specially developed flat wire laying device. The flat wire produced in this way meets all the requirements placed on it.

At wire Eurasia 2025 trade fair in Istanbul, Niehoff showcased a D 632 type double twist bunching machine, whose features such as durability, performance, and energy efficiency attracted great interest among trade visitors. Türkiye, located at the crossroads between Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, is also an important market for Niehoff. Among Niehoff’s customers there is Mega Metal, a leading global manufacturer of fine and superfine wire products made from oxygen-free electrolytic copper.

In the news section, readers will find details about the Niehoff and Rosendahl collaboration in Mexico, a review of the wire India 2024 trade fair, Niehoff construction projects in India and Germany, and information about the next NF Wire Forum, which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 27 and 28 October 2025.
