Our membership fees have remained unchanged for over 15 years however for 2023 the IWMA Board have decided to review the fees to reflect our international membership base and the availability of online banking and card payment facilities.

The board have therefore decided to set the membership fee in GBP before the application of any sales taxes that might be due (such as VAT for members in the UK) and the new annual membership rate will be £250 GBP. Each month when we raise invoices we will use the XE.com exchange rate to determine the rate for invoices in USD or Euro.

As a business we have bank accounts in GBP, Euro and USD and we use Xero for accounting software from which we will invoice in any of these three currencies. We intend to invoice in your preferred currency so if you receive an invoice in a currency that is not your preferred currency, please let us know and we will amend it. Our invoices will be sent out from Xero so please add <messaging-service@post.xero.com> to your list of safe email contacts.

Our terms of business are that membership invoices should be paid within 30 days of issue, invoices for events and similar charges may be due sooner for example before the date of the event or (for advertising) publication.

We are grateful that many members pay invoices by bank transfer and the details of our bank accounts are set out on our invoices. Our Xero produced invoices also provide a “pay now” link to a card payment processing platform – Stripe. We hope that members will use one of these payment methods but please contact us at info@iwma.org if you need to pay in a different way.
