We are now welcoming presentation submissions for the new Wire & Cable Hub Seminar Programme, taking place during wire China 2026 in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai and supported by our Data Insight Partner, CRU.

The Wire & Cable Hub is a brand-new feature concept for the 2026 exhibition, combining global IWMA member exhibitors with a built-in presentation zone to create a dynamic platform for businesses to exhibit, present ideas, network, and connect with the international wire and cable industry – all within one destination at the show.

The Seminar Programme will form a key part of the Hub activity, bringing together technical expertise, industry insight and forward-thinking discussion from across the global wire and cable sector.

The programme is currently being shaped around four key industry themes, and presentation submissions are now welcomed across the following topics:

• Sustainable Materials and Greener Cable Manufacturing

• Smart Manufacturing, AI and Digital Transformation

• Resilient Global Supply Chains and Cost Pressures

• Innovation for Future Cable Demand and High-Performance Applications

Alongside technical presentations, we also aim to include panel discussions within each topic area and welcome expressions of interest from members who may wish to participate.

The proposed panel discussion titles are as follows:

• From Materials to Manufacturing: Building a More Sustainable Cable Industry

• Digital Transformation in Practice: How AI and Smart Manufacturing Are Changing Cable Production

• Voices from the Field: Market Realities Across the Wire & Cable Industry

• Future Cable Demand: Innovation for Energy, Infrastructure and High-Performance Markets

Presentation sessions will take place on 22/23 September, with each session lasting approximately 20–30 minutes.

Please note that presentations should be technical and informative in nature. Purely commercial or company sales presentations will not be accepted.

All presentation submissions must be received by Friday 19 June 2026.

With limited presentation slots available, early submissions are strongly encouraged. For any enquiries relating to presentation submissions or participation within the seminar programme, please feel free to contact Katie Houston at katie@iwma.org.
