A Christmas Message from IWMA President Bernd Lohmüller

Dear members, partners and colleagues,

As we approach the end of the year, I would like to extend my warmest Christmas wishes to you all. This season offers a welcome moment to pause, reflect and appreciate what we have achieved together throughout the past 12 months.

It has been a year marked by progress, renewed connection and shared ambition across the wire and cable industry. From global exhibitions to technical collaboration and the continued growth of our membership, the IWMA has strengthened its role as a platform for knowledge, innovation and partnership. I am grateful for the commitment and trust you place in our association, and for the energy you bring to every event, discussion and initiative.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to our long-standing industry partners at Messe Düsseldorf. Their world-class exhibitions continue to set the benchmark for our sector, providing exceptional platforms for global engagement, innovation and collaboration. As we look ahead to 2026, we are especially pleased to be entering a Düsseldorf year, a milestone that always brings renewed energy, industry focus and unparalleled opportunities for our members. Their partnership remains a cornerstone of the IWMA’s ability to support companies on an international stage, and we deeply value their continued commitment to the industry.

Looking ahead, the coming year will bring new opportunities and new challenges for our sector. The wire and cable market continues to evolve rapidly as technology advances, infrastructure projects expand and global demand shifts. IWMA will remain focused on supporting our members through this changing landscape by providing insight, education and stronger networking opportunities than ever before.
