Meet Our First Guest Speaker: Chi Lee

With just two weeks to go, we’re pleased to announce Chi Lee, Analyst in CRU’s Wire and Cable Team, as the first guest speaker for the upcoming IWMA Industry Networking Lunch, UK 2026!

Focusing on the EMEA region, Chi contributes to CRU’s coverage of metallic cable markets and works closely with market players across the region. She is also the editor of CRU’s Electricity Transmission Market Outlook, bringing valuable insight into one of the fastest-evolving areas of the industry.

Chi specialises in analysing the market for High-Voltage (HV) and Extra High-Voltage (EHV) submarine and land cables, supporting major applications including offshore wind, submarine interconnectors and electricity grid infrastructure.

Before joining CRU in 2025, she spent two years as a Sustainability Analyst in the rare earths industry, assessing ESG practices across upstream mining and refining companies – adding an important sustainability and supply chain perspective to her work.
