Join us for The Great Connection at wire China 2026, our IWMA networking event taking place on Wednesday 23 September at CHAR Bar, Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund.
After a busy day at the exhibition, The Great Connection is an opportunity to step away from the show floor, relax and catch up with colleagues and friends from across the global wire and cable industry, with stunning views across the Huangpu River and Shanghai skyline.
Guests will enjoy IWMA’s signature Aperol Spritz, drinks, light bites and live entertainment throughout the evening.

Getting to the Event
We will be running a shuttle from the exhibition hall to the venue.
At the end of the exhibition day, please make your way to the IWMA stand in Hall E1, Stand D52, where our team will meet you and direct you to the shuttle.
Shuttle departure: 17:30
If you plan to make your own way to the venue, please let us know so we can make sure we have you accounted for.
Tickets
Please note that this event is officially sold out, and tickets can no longer be secured.
IWMA member companies receive up to two complimentary tickets.
Additional guests are welcome and will be invoiced to the member company at €60 per person.
Tickets include complimentary drinks until 22:30 and a finger food buffet.
