IWMA Virtual Wire & Cable Event

IWMA are excited to announce our first ever Virtual Wire & Cable Event. 

In keeping with the IWMA mission to ‘Connect Expertise Globally’ we will be holding our first ever virtual, one day event on Thursday 22nd April 2021.

It has now been a year since we have been able to meet face-to-face at our global events and exhibitions. So in recent months, the IWMA have been working with a tried and trusted virtual event platform to bring our members together. Providing real opportunity for networking, building connections, industry insight and more. This event is FREE to our members and with no travel or accommodation required to attend, it is also safe as you can dial in from the comfort of your own home or office.

We encourage our members to invite guests to this event with the introduction of our ‘Sponsored Speaker Sessions’ (more information below)  you can get your latest company news, products or technology right in front of their noses whilst also providing them with the opportunity to network and gain industry insight from our guest speakers.

The price for non members is £25 per person.

The event will run from 10am – 4pm (BST) and the agenda will include our members AGM and the award ceremony for our Young Person of the Year Award.  Applications are now open for the YPY award and you can apply by logging into your member dashboard. 

We will also be welcoming guest speakers from the following companies/organisations –

• Messe Düsseldorf GmbH
• Ducab
• BASEC

All content on the virtual event platform will be available after the event to delegates and can be re watched at any time. So if you can’t attend the event on the day you can still sign up and get all the content in your own time.

‘Sponsored Speaker Sessions’

Sponsored Speaker Sessions allow you to pre-record your own talk or presentation to feature on our virtual event platform for just £400. Whether you have new technology to share, invaluable industry insight or new products you wish to promote our sponsored speaker sessions give you the perfect opportunity to get this heard. All you have to do is provide us with a pre-recorded video or presentation which will feature in our virtual event platform and available to all delegates attending. Your video will also be available to all delegates after the event has finished and we will be able to provide you with the analytics of how many people have viewed it.

Pre-recorded videos/presentations will be required by Monday 19th April and supplied as an MP4 self recorded video or zoom video.
