For our company, it marked a significant opportunity – our polyethylene compound was selected as the jacketing material for 220 kV AL/XLPE/Smooth AL/HDPE cables used in this large-scale offshore wind farm. Designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, our high-quality HDPE ensures the cables are protected and perform reliably throughout their service life. These cables play a crucial role in transmitting renewable electricity from offshore facilities into onshore power grids, delivering energy to homes and businesses.
