We can’t believe it’s already been nearly a week since the conclusion of wire China 2024!

Reflecting on what was a fantastic event for the IWMA, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Shanghai! With an impressive 53,173 visitors from 99 countries and regions—nearly 20% of whom came from overseas—this year’s wire China has solidified its position as one of the most valued events for the global wire and cable industry, especially as it celebrated its 20th anniversary milestone. We’re incredibly proud to have been part of such a momentous occasion!

A special highlight for us was our IWMA Huangpu River Networking Cruise, which was a tremendous success! It was wonderful to see our members enjoying themselves, networking, and making new connections against the backdrop of Shanghai’s  iconic skyline. The beautiful scenery only added to the fantastic atmosphere on board!

It was also great to see so many of our member companies participating at wire China, whether exhibiting or utilising our meeting and hospitality services. Your presence was appreciated, and we were thrilled to receive such positive feedback from so many of you!

Looking ahead, we’re already excited for our next meetup at wire China 2026. In the meantime, we look forward to supporting you, our members, and staying connected at upcoming exhibitions and networking events throughout 2024 and 2025—starting with wire India, taking place in Mumbai from 27th-29th November. We’ll once again be co-hosting our popular wire India networking event on Thursday, 28th November too—more information is coming your way soon- keep a keen eye out at iwma.org/events.

The IWMA team looks forward to seeing you at another event very soon!
