A wire Düsseldorf Update from our IWMA Chairman, Willibert Dautzenberg:

 

As we look ahead to wire Düsseldorf 2026, I would like to warmly invite you to make full use of your IWMA membership during what will once again be the most important exhibition in the global wire and cable calendar.

 

IWMA will be at the show in full force and we are very much looking forward to welcoming members to our stand in Hall 11 | Stand D22. This year, you will see a fresh new look to our hospitality stand, created to make it even easier for members to meet, connect and do business throughout the week.

 

Whether you are exhibiting or visiting, our stand is there for you. We encourage you to use our meeting facilities, enjoy our hospitality, join us for lunch, or simply stop by for a good coffee to start the day properly. We hear it at every exhibition, so it must be true by now, IWMA coffee has become something of a tradition.

 

Our member lunches will take place on the stand each day from 12:30 to 13:30, offering a light lunch of sandwiches, snacks and drinks, and another opportunity to network, catch up with industry colleagues, or simply take a short break during a busy show day.

We are also pleased to offer members the opportunity to book a professional photography slot during the exhibition. Photography slots are available at £250 each and can be booked by clicking here.

 

Networking remains at the heart of IWMA, and we are delighted to once again host our exhibition networking event, The Great Connection: Your IWMA Networking Event at wire Düsseldorf. The event will take place at the CCD Congress Centre, within walking distance of the exhibition halls, and promises an enjoyable evening in true IWMA style, with great connections, food, drinks and light entertainment in a relaxed setting after the show.

 

All IWMA members receive three complimentary tickets, and additional tickets can be purchased for €65 each. You can reserve your places here.

 

This year we are also trying, where possible, to work in a more sustainable way. Last year, IWMA used well over 1,000 single-use plastic water bottles during the show. This year, members will receive IWMA reusable water bottles, and we will have cold water refill stations available on the stand throughout the exhibition.

 

Another highlight for us at this year’s show will be welcoming our seven IWMA Wire Educational Awardees. We were highly impressed by the calibre of applicants this year and are proud to give these talented young professionals the opportunity to experience wire Düsseldorf and our industry first hand.

 

This special exhibition is always a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with our members face to face, and we encourage you to use your membership fully while you are in Düsseldorf. Use the stand. Join the lunches. Book your meetings. Attend the networking event. Take advantage of the photographer. Most importantly, come and spend time with us.
