iDEAL Type DD0 104

During the dual force welding process, an additional upset blow is performed during the welding process. This additional force application presses the heat-affected material almost completely out of the weld zone.

Thus a finer grain structure is achieved in the heat-affected zone and as a result the mechanical properties of the weld seam are improved. In this manner, even high-strength joints can be achieved! The key advantages of the dual force welding “DD” process are:

  • Finer grain structure
  • High tensile strength
  • High bending strength

The double pressure welding process is used especially in wire drawing shops.

With the double pressure welding machine DD0 104 from iDEAL-Werk, the heat-affected material made of iron or non-ferrous metal is almost completely pressed out of the welding zone with force after the welding process.

This improves the mechanical properties as well as the design of the weld. With DD0 type series, high welding quality and enormous strength can be achieved.

At the same time the machine is characterized by a high reproducibility of the welding parameters. The ideal solution for your applications in coil vertical haul-offs of stretching lines and drawing lines.

Technical features of the DD0 104

Areas of application

Coil vertical deductions (coil radius: r = 525 mm) in

  • Stretching lines
  • Drawing lines
  • Steel and carbon steel qualities
  • B500B (BSteel / reinforcing steel SAE 1010 / according DIN488) ribbed

Automatic wire handling DM0 025

  • Opposite to the machine DD0 104 V there is an automatic wire handling DM0025

as feed to the welding machine DD0 104 V vertical with following servo axes: X/Y/Z

Upcoming exhibition: iDEAL will be attending Fabtech Orlando, USA, from 15th-17th October 2024, and will be represented at Booth W3235 through their subsidiary, Ideal Welding Systems (IWS).
